Still A Challenge

I’ve been getting used to the 5 or 10 minute stretching sessions after my workouts or with clients and skipping the Vinyasa.
Recently I’ve been prioritising the slower yoga practices for the benefits of stretching/flexibility. Before the 5pm class today I was questioning what is the real benefit of Vinyasa, since you aren’t really doing any static stretches and it’s hardly relaxing, at least compared to something like Yin Yoga.
However, what I’ve realised is that Vinyasa is actually quite functional and practical for every day life because it gets you moving and transitioning quickly between poses, which is important for building agility when it comes to sports or even making movements around the house. It also puts you in flow state and perhaps best of all challenges you mentally and physically.
